I spent every late afternoon in Pike Place Market! I really love the market vibes and delicious Russian pastries at Piroshky Piroshky Bakery. Although I don’t have any photos of the pastries that I had from Piroshky Piroshky, I highly recommend everyone to check it out if you do make a trip to Seattle. I love their savory and sweet pastries so definitely prepare room for two pastries instead of one (go for three if you can!!).

Brunch at Buck’s! We actually found this place by accident. It was located right across the street from our hostel. Coincidence? Nope! I’d rather say it’s fate.



Another reason that I love Wicker Park – Stan’s Donuts. I could just sit here all day.



Our first meal in Chicago (and our first meal together after 5 months or so?) – Yolk 

I was also famished from my early morning flight into O’Hare.


We each ordered our own entree and shared a red velvet brioche french toast! (We were stuffed by the end of our meal). IMG_3681

I will definitely make another trip back to Chicago!

Yes, I’m grateful that they actually woke up really early on a Sunday morning to take me out for breakfast. Good food, great company and amazing architecture.

In addition to Chicago’s urban charms, I really liked the laidback vibes at Wicker Park. The cafes, restaurants, and shops around the neighborhood add value to the area. I think I’m in love.
